Job Summary
Skillcure Academy is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in choosing the right career path and training programs. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and counselling skills, be target-driven, and have experience in educational counselling or EdTech sales.
As an Academic Counsellor, you will be the first point of contact for prospective students, helping them understand our programs, career opportunities, and enrollment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and working professionals regarding Skillcure Academy's training programs.
- Understand students' career goals and recommend suitable courses based on their interests and aspirations.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp, emails, and walk-in inquiries.
- Follow up with leads generated through digital marketing campaigns, social media, referrals, and other sources.
- Convert qualified leads into enrollments while maintaining a high conversion ratio.
- Explain course curriculum, training methodology, project-based learning, certification, placement assistance, and fee structure.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions in the CRM.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Coordinate with trainers and the operations team to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Build long-term relationships with students through timely follow-ups and support.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong counselling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good presentation and convincing abilities.
- Ability to understand student requirements and provide appropriate guidance.
- Target-oriented mindset with strong follow-up skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience using CRM software is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in Academic Counselling, Education Counselling, Admissions, Student Counselling, Inside Sales, or EdTech Sales.
- Freshers with exceptional communication and sales aptitude may also apply.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in counselling for IT, Data Analytics, Data Science, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, or other professional certification programs will be preferred.
