Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible X-Ray Technician to join our hospital. The candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality X-ray examinations, ensuring patient safety, maintaining radiation protection standards, and assisting in providing accurate diagnostic imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform X-ray investigations as prescribed by consultants.
- Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Operate Digital X-Ray (DR/CR) equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow all radiation safety and protection protocols.
- Ensure proper use of lead aprons, thyroid shields, and other protective devices.
- Verify patient identity before conducting investigations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Ensure proper care and routine maintenance of X-ray equipment.
- Report equipment faults immediately to the Biomedical Engineering Department.
- Maintain cleanliness and infection control practices in the X-ray room.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments.
- Follow NABH standards, AERB guidelines, and hospital policies.
- Assist during emergency and portable X-ray procedures when required.
Experience Required-Minimum 2 years (Mandatory)
Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
