Job Summary:
The Injection Moulding Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire injection moulding production process, ensuring efficient operations, high-quality output, and adherence to safety and production targets. The role involves managing manpower, machines, materials, and processes to achieve optimal productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and control daily injection moulding production activities
- Ensure production targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and timelines
- Monitor machine performance, cycle times, and overall equipment efficiency (OEE)
- Coordinate with maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Ensure proper mold setup, changeovers, and process optimization
- Maintain product quality as per defined standards and specifications
- Implement and monitor quality control systems and corrective actions
- Optimize material usage and reduce wastage/scrap
- Lead, supervise, and train production staff and operators
- Ensure adherence to safety norms and company policies
- Maintain production records, reports, and documentation
- Work closely with QA, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen, etc.)
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes and machinery
- Experience in handling different types of polymers and molds
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Leadership and team management ability
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of quality standards and production planning
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma practices
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical / Plastic Engineering or related field
Experience:
- 5–10 years of experience in injection moulding production
- Minimum 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
