About the Hiring Company
Aaarv Textiles is a growing manufacturer and exporter of premium home textile products, catering to domestic and international markets. The company is looking for an experienced Marketing Merchandiser to strengthen its merchandising and business development team.
Job Summary
We are hiring a Marketing Merchandiser with strong experience in Soft Home Textiles, Home Décor, and Furnishings. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, experience in buyer acquisition, merchandising, sample development, and coordination with production and quality teams.
Candidates with prior experience in a Buying House/Buying Agency will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international buyers.
- Generate new business opportunities and support buyer acquisition.
- Handle customer inquiries and manage end-to-end client communication.
- Coordinate sample development and product presentations.
- Liaise with production and quality teams to ensure timely execution of orders.
- Manage the complete merchandising process from inquiry to shipment.
- Monitor production schedules, order status, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare quotations and coordinate order confirmations.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through effective communication and timely updates.
- Stay informed about market trends and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Technology, Textile Design, or a related Textile discipline.
- A formal degree in Textiles is mandatory.
Experience
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in Home Textiles, Home Furnishings, or Export Merchandising.
- Experience with a Buying House/Buying Agency will be preferred.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of Home Textile products.
- Buyer acquisition and client relationship management.
- Sample development and merchandising.
- Production and quality coordination.
- Negotiation and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Compensation
- Salary: As per company standards, based on qualifications, relevant experience, and skills.
