Job Title: PGT Chemistry Teacher

Position: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Chemistry
Reports To: Principal / Academic Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for senior secondary students as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching resources, worksheets, assessments, and practical activities.
- Teach concepts effectively using appropriate pedagogical strategies, experiments, demonstrations, and technology.
- Conduct and supervise Chemistry practicals in accordance with laboratory safety procedures.
- Assess and monitor student learning through classwork, assignments, tests, examinations, and regular feedback.
- Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate academic support and enrichment.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board examinations through systematic revision and exam-oriented practice.
- Maintain accurate academic records, including lesson plans, assessments, marks, and student progress.
- Encourage scientific thinking, analytical skills, curiosity, and application-based learning.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, staff meetings, professional development programmes, school events, and other academic activities.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues and the Academic Coordinator to continuously improve teaching and learning practices.
- Perform other academic and institutional responsibilities assigned by the school management.
Qualifications & Experience
- M.Sc. in Chemistry with B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CBSE Chemistry curriculum and assessment practices.
- Good communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and technology for teaching and learning.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and nurturing students.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
