JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: 2D Draftsman
Location: Puttur, Karnataka
Package: 4LPA to 6LPA
Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented 2D Draftsman to support our construction and real estate projects. The role involves creating high-quality 2D designs, drawings, layouts, and marketing visuals that communicate project concepts clearly to internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate should combine technical accuracy with strong visual aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop Vastu based 2D architectural drawings, layouts, elevations, floor plans, and site plans as per project requirements
· Prepare presentation drawings, concept plans, and design visuals for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects
· Prepare permission drawings for approval authorities like Town & Country Planning Authority, Urben Development Authorities, Panchayath, Town Panchayath, Municipality offices or any other government offices as and when required.
· Support architects, engineers, and project managers with design documentation and revisions
· Produce as-built drawings and updated layouts based on construction progress
· Ensure designs comply with Vastu and local building codes, standards, and company guidelines
· Coordinate with cross functional teams to incorporate feedback and ensure timely delivery
· Maintain organized design files and version control
· Assist in visualizing project ideas for client presentations and approvals
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
· Proven experience as a 2D Draftsaman, preferably in construction, real estate, architecture, or interiors
· Proficiency in Vastu based AutoCAD (mandatory)
· Ability to understand architectural drawings and technical specifications
· Strong sense of composition, layout, scale, and typography
· Attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines
· Good communication and teamwork skills
Software & Technical Skills
· Mandatory: AutoCAD
Preferred Skills
· Familiarity with real estate marketing visuals
· Basic knowledge of construction processes and terminology
· Experience coordinating with architects, site engineers, or consultants
· Understanding of branding and visual identity for property projects
Experience
· Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
· Experience in:
o Real estate development projects
o Construction or architectural firms
