ROLE SUMMARY
The Manager – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for overseeing the complete spectrum of financial and accounting operations of the organisation. This includes inventory and expense control, ledger management, internal controls, statutory compliance, tax support, budgeting, and Management Information Systems (MIS) reporting. The role demands strong financial acumen, a process-driven mindset, and the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Financial Operations & Transactions
● Supervise all financial transactions in ERP including income, purchases, and expenses.
● Ensure accuracy of project codes and cost centres while recording transactions.
● Apply appropriate apportioning techniques for jointly incurred expenses across multiple projects.
● Establish and maintain robust processes and controls for all fees, purchases, and expenses. Payroll, Assets & Inventory
● Manage end-to-end payroll processing in conjunction with attendance records.
● Ensure proper controls are in place for consumables, fixed assets, and stock records maintenance. Receivables, Payables & Reconciliation
● Monitor and manage student fee receivables and institutional grants.
● Perform ledger scrutiny and regular reconciliation of receivables and payables. Budgeting & MIS Reporting
● Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with project managers to ensure completeness, timeliness, and accuracy.
● Conduct monthly budget-versus-actual variance analysis for each project/division and at the consolidated organizational level.
● Prepare and present reports highlighting major deviations with clear explanatory commentary. Compliance, Audit & Governance
● Support liaison with the University, State Government agencies, and local authorities on all compliance matters.
● Assist auditors and consultants in Income Tax scrutiny matters and Charity Commissioner related proceedings.
● Ensure all activities comply with applicable legal provisions, ethical standards, and industry best practices. Stakeholder Management & Process Improvement
● Provide timely and accurate financial information, cost data, and reports as required by stakeholders.
● Drive continuous improvement in policies, processes, systems, and the internal control environment of Trust operations.
Pay: ₹7,500,000.00 - ₹9,000,000.00 per year
