- Coordinate shift schedules and manage break rotations to maintain adequate floor coverage.
- Oversee point-of-sale (POS) registers, handle cash tills, and perform float reconciliations.
- Supervise front-line workers, including cashiers, shelf stockers, and department clerks.
- Train new onboarding hires on company policies, customer service standards, and safety rules.
- Motivate team members to meet daily or weekly sales and productivity targets.
- Address staff performance issues and resolve workplace grievances.
- Track stock levels and report shortages or reorder needs to management.
- Oversee the receipt, rotation, and placement of new merchandise shipments.
- Implement loss-prevention measures to reduce item damage, waste, and theft.
- Respond promptly to escalated customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints.
- Authorize product returns, exchanges, and refunds according to store policy.
