Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Store Assistant to support our store operations. The role involves handling materials, maintaining store organization, and assisting with day-to-day store activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving, unloading, and storing materials as per instructions
- Check material quantity and basic condition at the time of receipt
- Support material inward entries and hand over documents to the concerned team
- Help issue materials against approved requisitions
- Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and identification of materials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store area
- Assist in physical stock checks and cycle counts when required
- Report any damage, shortages, or mismatches to the Store In-Charge
- Support loading and dispatch activities as instructed
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of store or warehouse work
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Physically fit to handle materials and perform loading/unloading tasks
- Prior store/warehouse experience is an advantage but not mandatory
