Core Responsibilities
- Application Preparation: Guide clients through visa requirements, verify application forms, and ensure all supporting documents (financial proofs, itineraries, and letters of intent) are accurate and authentic.
- Submission & Tracking: Schedule appointments with embassies, consulates, or application centers (like VFS Global) and track the status of applications from submission to approval.
- Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing clear updates, explaining fee structures, and resolving application queries.
- Compliance & Integrity: Adhere to strict immigration laws, privacy regulations, and embassy protocols to minimize the risk of application delays or rejections.
- Interview Preparation: Often responsible for conducting mock interviews and pre-interview coaching for clients.
Key Skills Required
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of visa categories and immigration policies for major destinations (e.g., USA, UK, Schengen, Canada).
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous eye for spotting errors in paperwork, as minor discrepancies can lead to visa denial.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills for liaising with government officials and handling client anxiety regarding travel plans.
- Organization: Ability to manage heavy operational workloads and strict deadlines across multiple applicant files.
