Key Responsibilities
- Operate conventional/semi-automatic lathe machines for spinning pot machining and assembly activities.
- Assemble spinning pot components as per engineering drawings and work instructions.
- Perform loading, unloading, and setting of components on the lathe machine.
- Measure critical dimensions using Vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure products meet quality specifications and report any deviations.
- Carry out in-process inspections and maintain production records.
- Replace basic tooling and perform minor machine adjustments when required.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and follow TPM, 5S, and safety practices.
- Achieve daily production targets while minimizing rejection and rework.
- Coordinate with the Quality and Production teams to resolve process-related issues.
Qualification
- ITI – Turner / Machinist / Fitter / Machinist (Grinder)
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)
Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in lathe machine operation, machining, or assembly.
- Freshers with ITI qualification can also apply.
Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of conventional lathe machine operations.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Understanding of machining tolerances and quality requirements.
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
