Job Description:
The ASSEMBLY ENGINEER is responsible for supervising and managing the daily operations of the Assembly department. This includes overseeing metal fabrication, welding, and assembly processes to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. The role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise assembly activities.
- Maintain records of production output, inventory and downtime.
- Develop and implement production schedules and workflows.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
- Maintain and troubleshoot assembly equipment and tools.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate operators.
- Coordinate with design and procurement teams for material planning.
- Monitor project timelines and adjust resources as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving measures.
