Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide planning solutions using the Anaplan platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Anaplan model building, solution architecture, financial planning, workforce planning, and enterprise integrations. This role requires strong technical expertise combined with business consulting skills to deliver scalable, high-performing planning solutions aligned with organizational goals.
As an Anaplan Solution Architect, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, finance teams, IT teams, and project managers to architect, develop, and optimize Anaplan solutions while ensuring best practices in model design, performance, governance, and scalability.
Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Architecture
- Design and implement scalable, enterprise-grade Anaplan solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Define solution architecture, model design, and implementation strategy for enterprise planning initiatives.
- Lead end-to-end Anaplan implementation projects from requirement gathering through deployment and post-production support.
- Develop technical architecture documents, solution blueprints, data flow diagrams, and design specifications.
Model Development
- Build and optimize Anaplan models for:
- Workforce Planning
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Sales Planning
- Operational Planning
- Develop scalable models using Lists, Modules, Line Items, Data Hubs, ALM, and New UX.
- Perform model optimization through formula tuning, model restructuring, and space optimization.
- Ensure model scalability, maintainability, and performance.
Business Collaboration
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand planning requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution demonstrations.
- Recommend best practices and innovative planning solutions using Anaplan capabilities.
- Support business users during UAT, training, and production rollout.
Integration & Data Management
- Design and implement integrations between Anaplan and enterprise applications such as:
- SAP
- Oracle ERP
- Workday
- Salesforce
- Other EPM/ERP systems
- Manage data imports, exports, and migration activities.
- Collaborate with integration teams to build APIs and cloud integration solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, governance, and security across planning systems.
Performance Optimization
- Monitor and optimize Anaplan model performance.
- Implement best practices for model efficiency, calculation performance, and workspace optimization.
- Perform root cause analysis for production issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Continuously improve existing models through enhancements and optimization.
Leadership & Mentoring
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to Anaplan developers.
- Mentor junior consultants and model builders.
- Review code, models, and solution designs to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.
Quality Assurance & Governance
- Establish development standards and governance practices.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of models, integrations, and technical solutions.
- Participate in testing, deployment planning, and release management.
- Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 6+ years of hands-on Anaplan development and architecture experience.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Master's degree is preferred.
- Anaplan Certified Solution Architect certification is highly preferred.
- Master Anaplanner designation is an added advantage.
- Additional certifications in Agile, Scrum, Cloud, or Enterprise Planning are desirable.

- Experience implementing enterprise budgeting, forecasting, and planning solutions.
- Exposure to cloud integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica Cloud.
- Experience with enterprise data warehouses and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of financial modeling and business planning processes.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
