Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations
- Ensure smooth service during all shifts
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies
2. Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff
- Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance
- Motivate team members and handle performance reviews
- Resolve employee issues and maintain a positive work environment
3. Customer Service
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally
- Maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere
4. Financial Management
- Monitor sales, expenses, and profitability
- Prepare budgets and financial reports
- Control costs (food, labor, waste)
- Handle cash management and daily reconciliations
5. Quality Control
- Ensure food quality and presentation standards
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
- Conduct regular inspections
6. Marketing & Sales
- Implement promotional activities and special events
- Build relationships with customers and local community
- Increase customer retention and revenue
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good financial and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality industry
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
