Job Summary
The Makeup Artist is responsible for providing professional makeup services for clients based on their preferences, facial features, skin type, and occasion requirements. The role includes client consultation, makeup application, product recommendations, hygiene maintenance, and delivering a high-quality customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Client Consultation
Consult with clients to understand makeup preferences, skin type, and occasion requirements.
Recommend suitable makeup styles and products.
Provide guidance on skincare preparation before makeup application.
Makeup Application
Apply makeup for events such as weddings, parties, photoshoots, corporate events, and special occasions.
Create looks ranging from natural and bridal to editorial and glamour styles.
Use professional techniques for contouring, highlighting, eye makeup, and complexion correction.
Hygiene & Safety
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of makeup tools, brushes, and workstations.
Follow hygiene and infection-control standards.
Ensure products are stored properly and used within expiry guidelines.
Product Knowledge & Sales
Stay updated on makeup trends, techniques, and products.
Recommend and upsell appropriate beauty products and services.
Educate clients on makeup maintenance and skincare.
Operational Support
Manage appointment schedules and client records.
Assist with studio events, promotions, and demonstrations.
Collaborate with hairstylists, photographers, and other beauty professionals when required.
Qualifications
Certification or diploma in Makeup Artistry, Cosmetology, or Beauty Therapy.
Additional training in bridal, HD, airbrush, or editorial makeup is an advantage.
Experience
1–5 years of professional makeup experience preferred.

Compensation
As per company policy and candidate experience.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
