We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Merchandiser who has strong knowledge of garments, fabrics, fashion trends, and e-commerce/retail operations. The candidate will be responsible for handling product merchandising, coordinating with vendors and production teams, managing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end merchandising activities for apparel and clothing products.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, manufacturers, and internal teams for smooth order processing.
- Maintain strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, fits, washes, trims, and quality standards.
- Analyze fashion trends, market demand, and customer preferences.
- Handle product sourcing, costing, sampling, and price negotiations.
- Ensure timely production and dispatch of orders as per deadlines.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and replenishment planning.
- Coordinate with design, buying, warehouse, and e-commerce teams.
- Maintain product data, purchase orders, and merchandising reports.
- Conduct quality checks and ensure products meet company standards.
- Manage product listings, catalog coordination, and product launches on various platforms if required.
- Resolve vendor or production-related issues efficiently.
- Track sales performance and suggest strategies to improve product movement.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of garments, fabrics, textiles, and fashion merchandising.
- Understanding of apparel production processes and quality control.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and orders simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Excel, inventory management, and merchandising reports.
- Understanding of e-commerce platforms and marketplace operations is an added advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
