About the Role
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Packaging Executive / Officer to manage and coordinate day-to-day packaging activities while ensuring compliance with company standards, quality requirements, safety procedures, and production schedules.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining smooth packaging operations, proper documentation, material availability, and coordination with Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Warehouse, and other relevant departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor day-to-day primary and secondary packaging activities as per the approved production plan..
- Verify packaging materials such as cartons, labels, foils, bottles, tubes, containers, leaflets, and other components before use.
- Maintain proper identification and segregation of packaging materials and finished products.
- Ensure correct batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, MRP, coding, and labeling on packaging components.
- Monitor packaging machines and equipment for proper functioning and coordinate with the concerned team in case of abnormalities.
- Maintain accurate packaging-related records, checklists, logbooks, and batch documentation.
- Ensure reconciliation of packaging materials and investigate discrepancies, if any.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of packaging materials to prevent damage, mix-up, or contamination.
- Follow all applicable GMP, safety, hygiene, and quality procedures.
- Monitor manpower allocation and productivity within the packaging area.
- Identify and report packaging defects, deviations, machine issues, and other abnormalities to the concerned authority.
- Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions related to packaging activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards in the packaging area.
- Ensure minimum wastage of packaging materials and optimize packaging operations.
- Participate in internal audits, inspections, and process improvement activities as required.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical / cosmetic packaging operations.
- Understanding of GMP, SOPs, and documentation practices.
- Good attention to detail and ability to identify packaging defects.
- Basic knowledge of packaging machinery and equipment.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and meet production timelines.
- Good documentation and record-maintenance skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Educational Qualification:
- Bcom, Mcom, BA
- For a
- Packaging Helper / Packaging Trainee
- , I would recommend
- 10th / 12th Pass
- as the minimum qualification.
- Any graduate candidate can also apply.
- Basic knowledge of reading, writing, and documentation is required.
- Any relevant qualification with experience in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or FMCG packaging.Experience
0–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, FMCG, or related packaging operations.
Freshers with relevant educational qualifications may also be considered.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
