Position: Commis III – Pastry & Cake Production
Department: Central Production Unit (Pastry)
Reports To: Head Chef
Job Summary
The Commis III is responsible for assisting in the preparation, production, and finishing of cakes, pastries, and desserts while maintaining quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and production of cakes, pastries, desserts, and bakery products.
- Follow recipes, production schedules, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare ingredients, batters, fillings, creams, and decorations as instructed.
- Ensure consistent product quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area, equipment, and utensils.
- Follow food safety, FSSAI, and HACCP guidelines.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Minimize wastage and ensure efficient use of ingredients.
- Support packing and dispatch of finished products.
- Assist with inventory counts and daily production records.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Pastry Chef or Production Manager.
Qualifications
- Certificate/Diploma in Bakery & Pastry or Hotel Management (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in a pastry kitchen, bakery, or cake production unit.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of pastry and cake production.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.

Pay: ₹10,087.41 - ₹25,162.56 per month
