Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced VB.NET Developer with strong expertise in developing and maintaining enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in VB.NET, .NET Framework, SQL Server, and backend application development.
The role requires a candidate who can work independently, handle client interactions, and contribute to application enhancements, debugging, and production support.
Key Responsibilities Application Development & Maintenance
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using VB.NET and .NET Framework
- Enhance and support existing legacy applications
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
Database & Backend Development
- Work extensively with SQL Server
- Develop and optimize stored procedures, functions, triggers, and queries
- Perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting
Bug Fixing & Support
- Debug and resolve production issues
- Analyze root causes and implement long-term fixes
- Provide application support and maintenance
Integration & API Handling
- Work on integrations with third-party systems and APIs
- Ensure smooth data exchange and system compatibility
Collaboration & Client Interaction
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders
- Participate in requirement gathering and technical discussions
- Handle direct communication with international/US clients
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in VB.NET development
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- VB.NET
- .NET Framework
- SQL Server
- Windows/Web Applications
- Experience with debugging and performance optimization
- Strong understanding of OOP concepts
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ASP.NET / C#
- Experience with REST APIs / Web Services
- Familiarity with Azure or cloud platforms
- Exposure to legacy application modernization
Key Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working in evening/night shifts
- Willing to work 5 days from office in Gurugram
- Immediate joiners preferred
- Experience handling US/international clients is a plus
Pay: Up to ₹1,807,610.48 per year
