About the Role
We are looking for an experienced professional to manage export shipments and provide end-to-end customer support in a freight forwarding environment.
The candidate will coordinate with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, transporters, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of export shipments, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end export shipments from booking to delivery.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, CFS/ICD, and transporters.
- Prepare and verify export documentation, including:
- Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading (BL)
- Certificate of Origin (COO)
- Other relevant export documents
- Ensure timely communication and provide regular shipment updates to customers.
- Follow up on documentation, approvals, and shipment status.
- Handle customer queries and provide effective solutions.
- Work closely with Operations, Documentation, and Accounts teams for smooth execution.
- Ensure timely shipment execution and customer satisfaction.
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of export logistics and documentation.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Email.
- Knowledge of logistics software is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with customers, shipping lines, overseas agents, transporters, and internal teams.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in freight forwarding/export logistics, with a strong understanding of export documentation and shipment coordination. The candidate should be customer-oriented, organized, detail-focused, and capable of managing multiple shipments simultaneously.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Fort, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
