The Instrument Technician is responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and automation systems used in yarn manufacturing processes. The role ensures the reliable operation of spinning, winding, humidification, air-conditioning, and utility equipment to achieve production targets, product quality, and operational safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, calibrate, and maintain process instruments and control systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair sensors, transmitters, control valves, drives, and automation equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance according to maintenance schedules.
- Monitor and maintain temperature, humidity, pressure, flow, and level control systems.
- Calibrate field instruments and maintain calibration records.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Maintain spare parts inventory for instrumentation equipment.
- Participate in plant shutdowns, commissioning, and improvement projects. Qualifications:

- Diploma/Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering.
- ITI Instrument Mechanic or equivalent technical qualification may be considered.
