Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, and other networking equipment.
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability of internet services.
- Troubleshoot customer and internal network issues promptly.
- Manage broadband connectivity, bandwidth allocation, and firewall/security configurations.
- Coordinate with field engineers for on-site support and installations.
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
- Implement security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Assist in network expansion and new project deployments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma/Graduate in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and broadband technology.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
- Problem-solving attitude with good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Prior experience in an ISP or telecom environment preferred.
