Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Academic Counselor to join our growing EdTech team in Kozhikode. The ideal candidate should have excellent counseling and communication skills, a proven track record in student admissions, and the ability to guide students toward the right educational and career choices while achieving admission targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses and career opportunities.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs.
- Convert inquiries into admissions by achieving monthly enrollment targets.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls and conduct timely follow-ups.
- Build strong relationships with students throughout the admission process.
- Maintain accurate student records and update CRM regularly.
- Resolve student queries professionally and provide end-to-end admission support.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Marketing, and Academic teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Mentor junior counselors and support the team in achieving branch targets.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly counseling and admission reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Mandatory).
- 1–3 years of experience as an Academic Counselor, Senior Counselor, or Admission Counselor, preferably in the EdTech industry.
- Excellent communication, counseling, and negotiation skills.
- Strong ability to achieve admission and revenue targets.
- Experience in CRM and lead management.
- Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
