About Position:
This role is suited for an experienced SDET or Software Engineer in Test with 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for large-scale enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong Java development skills, expertise in UI, API, backend, and database testing, and experience integrating automated testing into modern CI/CD pipelines.

What You'll Do:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and reusable test libraries using Java for enterprise applications.

Build and execute automated test suites covering UI, API, backend, and database layers to ensure product quality and reliability.

Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and validation approaches for new features and platform enhancements.

Create and maintain automated tests for RESTful APIs, web applications, and distributed backend services.

Integrate automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback during software delivery.

Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Architects to identify quality risks and define testing requirements.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across complex enterprise systems.

Drive quality improvements by identifying automation opportunities, improving test coverage, and reducing manual testing efforts.

Analyze application defects, troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and work with development teams on resolutions.

Validate data integrity and business workflows through SQL and database testing.

Contribute to testing strategies for microservices, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems.

Develop and execute performance, reliability, and scalability tests to ensure production readiness.

Utilize observability tools, logs, metrics, and traces to investigate issues and improve system reliability.

Establish and promote quality engineering practices, coding standards, and test automation guidelines across teams.

Mentor junior QA/SDET engineers and contribute to organization-wide quality initiatives and automation programs.

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
Expertise You'll Bring:

Bachelor?s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

6+ years of experience in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), Test Automation, or Software Engineering roles with a strong focus on quality engineering.

Strong programming expertise in Java, with hands-on experience developing automation frameworks, test harnesses, and reusable testing utilities.

Proven experience testing enterprise-scale applications across UI, API, backend, and database layers.

Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, test automation strategies, and quality assurance best practices.
-
Hands-on experience with REST API testing, web application testing, end-to-end automation, and integration testing.

Strong experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG, JUnit, Maven, or equivalent frameworks.

Proficiency in SQL, database validation, data integrity testing, and backend testing concepts.

Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.

Strong debugging, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and QA teams.

Experience building scalable, reusable automation frameworks and shared testing libraries used across multiple teams.
