We are looking for experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) / Accounts Payable (AP) Executives with a strong understanding of UK accounting processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing AR/AP functions for international clients and be comfortable working in a UK shift environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable processes.
- Process customer invoices, vendor invoices, credit notes, and payment transactions accurately.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
- Perform vendor reconciliations and customer account reconciliations.
- Process supplier payments while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related queries.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and overseas clients for smooth financial operations.
- Ensure timely month-end closing activities related to AR/AP.
- Adhere to company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) and/or Accounts Payable (AP).
- Good understanding of UK Accounting principles and financial processes.
- Experience working with UK-based clients or international accounting operations.
- Hands-on experience with UK accounting software/ERP systems or accounting portals.
- Strong knowledge of invoice processing, reconciliations, collections, and payment cycles.
- Good communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with international stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting UK or other international business operations.
- Exposure to ERP systems such as Sage, Xero, Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar accounting platforms.
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
