Job Responsibilities – Duty Manager (Front Office)
1. Guest Service & Relations
- Act as the primary point of contact for guests during assigned shifts.
- Handle guest complaints, feedback, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction at all times.
- Manage VIP arrivals, departures, and special amenities.
2. Front Office Operations
- Oversee daily front office operations including reception, concierge, and bell desk.
- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes.
- Monitor room status, occupancy levels, and coordinate with housekeeping.
- Ensure proper cash handling, billing accuracy, and night audit support (if required).
3. Staff Supervision
- Supervise, motivate, and guide front office staff during the shift.
- Prepare duty rosters and manage staff attendance.
- Conduct briefings and ensure staff follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Train new staff and provide on-the-job coaching.
4. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with other departments such as Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and F&B.
- Communicate operational issues and guest concerns to department heads.
- Ensure effective shift handovers and logbook maintenance.
5. Safety & Security
- Act as the manager on duty responsible for overall hotel safety.
- Handle emergency situations (fire, medical, evacuation) according to hotel policy.
- Ensure compliance with hotel safety, security, and legal requirements.
6. Administrative & Reporting Duties
- Prepare daily operational reports and incident reports.
- Monitor guest feedback and online reviews, when assigned.
- Assist in forecasting room availability and managing overbooking situations.
7. Revenue & Quality Control
- Upsell rooms and hotel services where appropriate.
- Monitor room rates, upgrades, and walk-in reservations.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and quality audits.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
