Job Summary
We are looking for a highly knowledgeable and experienced Accountant to manage the company’s accounting operations, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in accounting principles, GST, TDS, payroll, and statutory compliance, along with proficiency in accounting software and working knowledge of AI tools to improve reporting, reconciliation, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records.
Record and verify daily accounting transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, and payments).
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
File GST and TDS returns within prescribed deadlines.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and government authorities.
Process payroll accounting entries and employee reimbursements.
Prepare MIS reports and management dashboards.
Monitor outstanding receivables and ensure timely follow-up.
Utilize AI tools to automate reporting and improve data productivity.
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company policies.
Key Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax laws.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Reconciliation).
Hands-on experience with Tally Solutions, ERP systems, or similar software.
Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) for data analysis.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Educational Qualifications: B.Com / M.Com / BBA / MBA in Accounting or Finance.
CA Inter preferred.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
