Job Summary
The Electrical Draughtsman is responsible for preparing accurate electrical drawings based on the inputs and instructions provided by the Team Leader. The role requires timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Receive project assignments and design inputs from the Team Leader.
- Prepare electrical drawings, layouts, and detailed drafting as per the provided instructions.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and project requirements.
- Incorporate revisions and comments received from the Team Leader, clients, or project engineers.
- Coordinate with internal departments for drawing-related information and clarifications.
- Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings.
- Complete assigned work within the specified project timelines.
- Report any technical issues or design conflicts to the Team Leader immediately.
- Ensure accuracy and quality before submitting drawings for review.
- Follow company drafting standards, procedures, and quality requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of project information and company data.
- Keep project files organized and updated.
- Support the project team during execution by providing revised and as-built drawings when required.
- Continuously improve drafting skills and stay updated with the latest CAD software and drafting practices.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Team Leader or Management from time to time.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in electrical drafting. Freshers with good AutoCAD knowledge may also be considered.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
