Ciklum is looking for a Lead JavaScript Engineer to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:
As a Lead JavaScript Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow to contribute to the development of a production-ready platform. The technical vision focuses on building two core pillars:

Responsibilities:

Develop high-quality, scalable UI components based on provided design prototypes

Lead frontend development using React.js and Next.js
-
Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and build end-to-end solutions
-
Ensure performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
-
Take ownership of frontend architecture and technical decisions
-
Participate in code reviews and maintain coding best practices
Requirements:
-
10+ years of relevant experience in frontend/UI development
-
Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, and Next.js

Proven experience in UI development and building responsive web applications
-
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks

Experience working with REST APIs and backend integration

Ability to lead development efforts and work in a collaborative environment

Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Desirable:

Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, etc.)

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development tools

Understanding of performance optimization and SEO best practices in Next.js
