Job Description:
About the Role
At Worknoon, we’re building the future of workspace discovery and booking. Our platform helps individuals and teams find, compare, and book flexible workspaces, from coworking spaces to private offices.
We’re integrating AI into the core of this experience, making workspace discovery smarter, faster, and more personalized.
We’re looking for an AI Engineer who is execution-focused, product-minded, and ready to build real-world AI systems that improve how people work and find spaces.
The Opportunity
This is not a traditional engineering role. You won’t just experiment with models, you’ll ship production-ready AI features that directly impact users.
You’ll work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to build intelligent systems that power search, recommendations, automation, and decision-making within the Worknoon platform.
If you enjoy solving real problems, working in fast-moving environments, and seeing your work go live quickly, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
AI Product Development
Design, build, and deploy AI-powered features such as smart search, recommendations, and booking optimization.
Translate user behavior and business needs into intelligent systems that improve decision-making.
Work across the full lifecycle from prototype to production.
Model Integration & Engineering
Integrate LLMs and AI models into the platform to enhance user experience and automation.
Build APIs, pipelines, and backend systems that support AI-driven functionality.
Optimize performance, latency, and cost for production environments.
Collaboration with Product & Engineering Teams
Work closely with product managers and designers to define AI use cases.
Collaborate with backend and frontend engineers to ship features quickly.
Contribute to product decisions, not just implementation.
Systems Thinking & Execution
Structure projects with clear ownership, timelines, and deliverables.
Implement feedback loops to continuously improve AI performance.
Ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability of systems.
Who You Are
2+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or machine learning.
Strong proficiency in Python and modern backend frameworks.
Hands-on experience working with LLMs, APIs, or AI tools in real projects.
You have built and deployed at least one real-world product or system.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, startup environments with minimal structure.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think in systems, not just code.
How to Apply
If you’ve built something real and you’re ready to build more, we’d love to hear from you.
