Job Title: Mathematics Teacher
Reports To: Head of Department / Principal
Job Summary:
The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging mathematics lessons that help students develop strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. The teacher creates a positive learning environment, assesses student progress, and supports academic achievement in accordance with the school's curriculum and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective mathematics lessons aligned with the curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, quizzes, projects, and classroom activities.
- Provide constructive feedback and additional support to students who need assistance.
- Encourage students to develop logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain accurate student attendance, grades, and academic records.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and educational technology to enhance learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events
Pay: ₹20,637.23 - ₹25,281.65 per month
