Job Summary
The Management Trainee will work closely with the Director and Production Head to gain practical exposure to production management, operations, strategic planning, and business administration. The role is designed to develop future leaders by providing hands-on experience in manufacturing processes, production planning, quality systems, team coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Operations
- Assist the Production Head in daily production planning and execution.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of production targets.
- Track production efficiency, machine utilization, and manpower productivity.
- Support implementation of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives.
- Assist in monitoring production KPIs such as OEE, rejection, downtime, and productivity.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, Purchase, and Stores departments.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company operating procedures.
Director's Office
- Support the Director in strategic and operational projects.
- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and business presentations.
- Analyze production, sales, inventory, and operational data.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare MOM (Minutes of Meeting), and follow up on action items.
- Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Conduct research and prepare reports for management decision-making.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Assist in implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement programs.
- Support digitalization and process automation initiatives where applicable.
Administration & Coordination
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain production records, reports, and documentation.
- Assist in inventory control and material planning.
- Perform additional assignments as directed by the Director and Production Head.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- MBA (Operations/Production/General Management) preferred.
Skills & Competencies

- Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.

Experience
- Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
