Designation: Sales & Marketing ExecutiveLogistics intern is responsible for supporting the logistics team and gaining practical experience in the field. Here are some common duties of a logistics intern:
- Assisting with Inventory Management: The intern may be involved in tracking and managing inventory levels, conducting stock counts, and ensuring accuracy in inventory records.
- Order Processing: Processing and tracking orders from clients, suppliers, or internal departments to ensure timely delivery.
- Transportation Coordination: Assisting in coordinating the transportation of goods, including booking shipments, arranging pick-up and delivery, and tracking shipments' progress.
- Warehouse Operations Support: Assisting in warehouse operations, such as organizing and optimizing storage space, handling inbound and outbound shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.
- Data Entry and Analysis: Entering data related to logistics operations into computer systems and assisting in analyzing data to identify trends and potential improvements.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping for shipments, inventory, and other logistics-related information.
- Vendor and Supplier Communication: Communicating with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, track orders, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Supporting Customs Compliance: Assisting in ensuring that all relevant customs and regulatory requirements for international shipments are met.
- Process Improvement: Identifying areas for process improvement within the logistics workflow and proposing ideas for streamlining operations.
- Learning Logistics Software: Gaining familiarity with logistics management software and tools commonly used in the industry.
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Working with other departments such as procurement, sales, and customer service to ensure smooth logistics operations and effective communication.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Assisting with special projects as assigned by the logistics manager or team lead.Required
- Qualification:Bachelor degree required or MBAMinimum 6 months experience required in sales & marketing.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per month
