Destinare Services is hiring Licensed Mental Health Professionals to support an exciting AI initiative focused on improving Large Language Models (LLMs) used in mental health and psychological well-being.
In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated responses for clinical accuracy, safety, and appropriateness, helping develop responsible AI systems that provide evidence-based mental health information.

Responsibilities
- Review and annotate conversational, written, and survey-based mental health content.
- Identify emotional tone, mood indicators, stress markers, and wellbeing-related themes.
- Apply validated mental health frameworks (e.g., PHQ-9 style constructs, sentiment/affect taxonomies).
- Identify crisis language, self-harm indicators, and other sensitive content following safety protocols.
- Ensure annotations reflect clinical accuracy, contextual understanding, and cultural sensitivity.
- Contribute to improving annotation guidelines for complex or ambiguous cases.
- Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive mental health data.
Required Qualifications
- Master's, MSW, LCSW, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent qualification in:
- Clinical Psychology
- Counseling Psychology
- Social Work
- Behavioral Health
- Active professional license (preferred where applicable)
- Minimum 3-5 years of direct clinical experience
- Strong understanding of evidence-based therapies, including:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) (Required)
- DBT
- ACT
- MBSR
- Strong understanding of mental health terminology and wellbeing frameworks.
- Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.
- Excellent written English and attention to detail.
- MacBook preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Clinical Counselor
- Experience in outpatient or community mental health
- Experience with AI data annotation or content moderation
- Training in trauma-informed care
- Strong knowledge of current clinical research
