Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and motivated ITI/Diploma Electrical Technician with 1–3 years of experience in the hotel industry. The candidate will be responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems to ensure uninterrupted operations across guest rooms, public areas, banquet halls, restaurants, kitchens, and back-of-house facilities while maintaining the highest standards of safety and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of all electrical systems and equipment.
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, lighting fixtures, switches, sockets, distribution boards, MCBs, and circuit breakers.
- Attend and resolve electrical complaints from guest rooms, banquet halls, restaurants, kitchens, offices, and common areas promptly.
- Monitor and maintain electrical panels, transformers, generators, UPS systems, emergency lighting, and power distribution systems.
- Carry out routine inspections to identify potential electrical faults and ensure timely corrective action.
- Assist in the maintenance of HVAC systems, pumps, motors, lifts, and other electromechanical equipment.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply and support during hotel events and banquet functions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and records of repairs and inspections.
- Coordinate with the Engineering Department for preventive maintenance schedules and renovation projects.
- Follow all electrical safety procedures, hotel SOPs, and statutory regulations.
Eligibility Criteria
- ITI (Electrician Trade) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- 1–3 years of experience in hotel engineering, hospitality, commercial buildings, or facility management.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, lighting, power distribution, DG sets, UPS systems, and electrical safety standards.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by hotel operations.
