Job Description: Kitchen Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure the consistent quality of our sweets and savory products.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen activities.
- Ensure sweets and savory items are prepared according to quality and hygiene standards.
- Monitor food preparation, production schedules, and inventory levels.
- Guide and support kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, and work areas.
- Monitor the use of raw materials and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with the purchase and store teams to ensure the availability of ingredients.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products before dispatch or display.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff and maintaining a positive work environment.
Requirements:
- Experience in kitchen operations, preferably in a sweets, bakery, or savory production environment.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to plan production and manage inventory efficiently.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
