Job Title: Assembly Engineer (Mechanical) – SPM & Automation
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble SPMs, automation machines, and mechanical sub-assemblies as per engineering drawings.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly BOMs.
- Perform alignment, fitting, drilling, tapping, and machine assembly.
- Install pneumatic components, linear guides, bearings, and gearboxes.
- Conduct machine trials, testing, and troubleshooting during assembly.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, and Electrical teams for smooth machine integration.
- Ensure assembly quality, safety, and timely project completion.
- Maintain assembly records and follow 5S practices.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of mechanical assembly and machine fitting.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Hands-on experience with measuring instruments and assembly tools.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Requirements
- Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in SPM/Industrial Automation machine assembly.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel for machine installation if required.
