We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music & Keyboard Teacher to join our fine arts department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching keyboard and basic music theory to students, fostering a love for music, and helping students develop their musical talents.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging keyboard and piano lessons for students across different age groups and skill levels.
- Teach music notation, rhythm, theory, and proper playing techniques.
- Prepare students for school events, assemblies, annual days, and external music examinations if applicable.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth.
- Maintain and manage the music room equipment and instruments.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Music, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent certification/diploma from a recognized music board like Trinity, ABRSM, etc.).
- Experience: Prior experience teaching keyboard/piano in a school setting or private music academy is preferred.
- Skills: Strong proficiency in playing the keyboard, excellent communication skills, and patience in handling young learners.
