Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and strategic Senior Web Designer to lead the visual and user experience design for schools, colleges and universities. Create intuitive, visually engaging digital experiences (websites) that simplify school readiness, enrollment, and communication for parents, educators, and administrators.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design initiatives from initial concept, wireframing, and user flows to high-fidelity visual designs and interactive prototypes.
- Establish and scale a unified design system, ensuring consistent visual language, typography, color palettes, and component libraries across all digital touchpoints.
- Design fully responsive website that optimize accessibility and usability across mobile, tablet, and desktop environments.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility, oversee the precise implementation of visual assets, and assist with front-end styling when necessary.
- Advocate for parent-centric design by translating user feedback, stakeholder requirements, and web analytics into actionable design iterations.
- Mentor junior designers and establish internal design best practices, file structures, and quality assurance workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of professional web design experience, preferably within education industry.
- Tech Proficiency: Strong understanding of modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and frameworks to facilitate seamless engineering handoffs.
- UX/UI Principles: Deep knowledge of user interface design patterns, responsive layouts, web typography, and WCAG accessibility standards.
- Portfolio: A robust professional portfolio demonstrating a strong aesthetic sense, clean grid systems, and a track record of solving complex user problems through design.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
