About the Role
We are seeking a creative, fast-learning, and trend-aware Social Media Executive / Content Creator based in Kolkata to take charge of our social media channels. If you love tracking the latest social trends, understand how platform algorithms work, and can quickly churn out engaging creatives, reels, and posts using Canva, video editing tools, and AI prompts, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Design: Design eye-catching posts, stories, carousels, and banners using Canva and AI design tools.
- Short-Form Video Editing: Shoot, edit, and optimize short-form video content (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts) using InShot, CapCut, or similar tools.
- Trend & Algorithm Savvy: Stay updated with platform algorithms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.), viral audio, formats, and emerging trends to keep our content relevant.
- AI Tool Integration: Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) to brainstorm copy, captions, hashtags, visual concepts, and creative variations efficiently.
- Strategy & Planning: Assist in preparing monthly social media content calendars and aligning posts with marketing goals.
- Engagement & Analytics: Track post performance, engagement metrics, and respond to comments/messages to build community engagement.
Requirements & Skills
- Graduate in any stream (Freshers with a strong creative portfolio/social projects or candidates with 6 months – 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply).
- Hands-on proficiency in Canva and mobile video editing apps like InShot.
- Practical exposure to AI generation tools for text, concepts, or visual assets.
- Fast learner who adapts quickly to new tools, formats, and changes in algorithms.
- Good written communication skills for writing punchy captions and hooks.
- Must be locally based in Kolkata.
Preferred Profile
- Candidates available to join immediately or within 1–2 weeks.
- A personal portfolio, creative drive link, or active social media profile showcasing graphic design/video editing samples is highly recommended with the application.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
