Job Summary
The Staff Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, assisting doctors in medical procedures, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring patient safety and comfort in accordance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities
1:- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
2:- Monitor vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respiration) and record observations accurately.
3:- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by doctors.
4:- Assist doctors during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
5:- Maintain patient hygiene, comfort, and safety at all times.
6:- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures.
7:- Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, and reports.
8:- Follow infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe environment.
9:- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, medications, and post-treatment care.
10:- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid or life-saving care.
11:- Coordinate with doctors, lab technicians, and other healthcare staff.
12:- Ensure proper use and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.
13:- Adhere to hospital rules, policies, and ethical standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing.
* Valid registration with the State Nursing Council.
* Freshers or experienced candidates may apply (as per hospital requirement).
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
