We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Magento Developer to join our growing eCommerce development team in Mohali. This opportunity is open to freshers as well as candidates with up to 3 years of experience who have a strong foundation in PHP and an interest in eCommerce development.
The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of PHP, Object-Oriented Programming, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL, along with a willingness to learn and work with Magento 2.
You will work closely with senior developers and other team members to develop, customize, maintain, and optimize eCommerce websites for international clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, maintain, and enhance Magento 2 websites.
- Assist senior developers in implementing Magento features and customizations.
- Customize Magento themes, layouts, templates, and modules.
- Develop and modify Magento functionality based on project requirements.
- Fix bugs, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform website maintenance.
- Integrate third-party extensions, APIs, and services.
- Assist with payment gateway and other eCommerce integrations.
- Work with MySQL databases and perform basic database queries and troubleshooting.
- Optimize websites for performance, responsiveness, and reliability.
- Follow Magento coding standards and development best practices.
- Use Git for version control and team collaboration.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Test website functionality and resolve issues before deployment.
- Work closely with senior developers, frontend developers, designers, and project managers.
- Learn and apply Magento 2 development concepts and eCommerce best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
- Freshers and candidates with up to 3 years of experience are welcome to apply.
- Good knowledge of PHP.
- Basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Basic understanding of MVC architecture.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Basic understanding of web development concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail.

- Familiarity with Linux, cPanel, or web hosting environments.
- Basic knowledge of Docker or cloud platforms.
- Personal, academic, internship, or freelance projects involving PHP, Magento, or eCommerce.
- GitHub portfolio or examples of relevant development work.
Education
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Development, or a related field is preferred.
