Role Overview
The Program Advisor is responsible for counseling prospective students and guiding them through professional upskilling programs. This is a consultative inside sales role focused on understanding candidate needs, recommending suitable programs, and driving enrollments through structured follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound student inquiries via calls, WhatsApp, email, and virtual sessions
- Understand candidate backgrounds, career goals, and learning objectives
- Provide personalized program recommendations and career guidance
- Explain course curriculum, outcomes, schedules, and career benefits
- Assist candidates through application and enrollment processes
- Maintain consistent follow-ups to convert leads into enrollments
- Update and manage lead data in CRM systems
- Collaborate with internal teams for better admissions outcomes
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in EdTech admissions / inside sales / counseling / B2C sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (English & Hindi preferred)
- Consultative selling and relationship-building ability
- Target-driven mindset with strong follow-up discipline
- Familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.
