We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Apparel Merchandiser to manage end-to-end merchandising activities for garment production and order execution in D2c Model The ideal candidate should have experience coordinating with buyers, vendors, production teams, and suppliers while ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the complete merchandising process from order confirmation to final shipment.
- Coordinate with buyers regarding product specifications, samples, pricing, and order updates.
- Follow up with vendors, factories, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of fabrics, trims, and accessories.
- Monitor production timelines and ensure on-time order execution.
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to maintain product quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain order sheets, costing, purchase orders, and production reports.
- Track inventory requirements and coordinate material availability.
- Resolve production or shipment-related issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with buyer requirements and company quality standards.
- Maintain regular communication with internal departments including production, planning, and logistics.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of apparel merchandising and garment manufacturing processes.
- Great experience in D2c business model.
- Experience in woven, knitted, or fashion apparel merchandising.
- Understanding of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and costing.
- Excellent coordination, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP software (preferred).
- Ability to manage multiple orders and meet deadlines
