The Junior Executive in the Planning Department will assist in coordinating and monitoring the production planning activities to ensure smooth workflow, timely delivery, and efficient resource utilization within the woven garment production unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing production plans based on buyer orders, delivery schedules, and production capacity.
- Coordinate with merchandising, cutting, sewing, finishing, and stores departments to track order progress.
- Update and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Follow up on fabric and trims in-house status to ensure material availability before production start.
- Support the Planning Executive in line loading plans and capacity analysis.
- Monitor order-wise production status, highlight delays, and help in corrective action planning.
- Maintain accurate data entry of orders, styles, and production schedules in ERP or Excel.
- Assist in preparing TNA (Time and Action) calendars and ensure adherence to deadlines.
- Participate in pre-production meetings to understand order requirements and constraints.
- Coordinate with quality and store teams for smooth order execution.
Qualification & Experience:
- Educational Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Textile / Fashion Technology / Garment Manufacturing / any related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Planning Department (preferably in woven garments).
- Freshers with good analytical & Excel skills may also apply.
Skills Required:
- Good understanding of garment production processes (especially woven).
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP systems.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Time management and problem-solving skills.
