Sales Manager – (Life Insurance)
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and target-driven Sales Manager to promote and sell life insurance products directly to customers. The role involves generating leads, understanding client needs, explaining insurance plans, and achieving sales targets while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads through calls, referrals, field visits, networking, and digital channels.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
- Explain policy features, benefits, exclusions, and premium details clearly.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with prospective and existing clients.
- Assist customers with documentation and policy issuance processes.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations and policy servicing.
- Build long-term customer relationships for renewals and cross-selling.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM/software.
- Stay updated on insurance products, market trends, and regulatory guidelines.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good convincing and interpersonal abilities.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated mindset.
- Basic understanding of insurance products and sales processes.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline preferred.
- Experience in insurance, banking, financial services, or direct sales is an advantage.
- Freshers with strong sales aptitude may also apply.
Preferred Experience
- 0–3 years in insurance sales, BFSI sales, or direct selling.
- Experience in cold calling and field sales is a plus.
