Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and resourceful Procurement Specialist to manage the sourcing, negotiation, and purchase of products for our company. This role involves coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality procurement that meets our business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing Suppliers: Research and evaluate potential suppliers, assessing quality, reliability, and price competitiveness.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, negotiating terms and monitoring performance to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Inventory Coordination: Work with inventory and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels and avoid shortages.
- Order Placement and Tracking: Process purchase orders, track shipments, and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Cost Optimization: Negotiate contracts and seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming products as needed and resolve any quality issues in coordination with suppliers.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date on market trends, new product offerings, and competitor pricing to inform procurement strategies.
- Reporting and Analysis: Track procurement data, prepare reports on spending, lead times, and supplier performance, and identify improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to establish good supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office or Google Workspace applications.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
