2. Employee Relations (Very Critical in Manufacturing)
Furniture factories often have large shop-floor teams, so managing relationships is key:
Handling grievances and disciplinary actions
Maintaining a positive work culture across blue-collar and white-collar staff
Ensuring compliance with labor laws and union agreements (if applicable)
3. Performance Management
Setting KPIs tied to production output, quality, and efficiency
Supporting managers in appraisals
Driving productivity improvement initiatives
4. Training & Development
Skill development programs (e.g., woodworking techniques, machine handling)
Safety training (very important in manufacturing environments)
Leadership development for line supervisors
