This job posting is in a hormone formulation manufacturing division of Celogen Pharma.
Job Summary:
The Production Trainee will support the Production Department in carrying out manufacturing activities in accordance with approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and safety guidelines. The trainee will gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical production processes, equipment operations, documentation, and compliance within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of manufacturing activities as per approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Support production activities, depending on the assigned manufacturing area.
- Operate and monitor production equipment under the guidance of senior personnel.
- Ensure adherence to cGMP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and company quality standards.
- Perform equipment cleaning and verify line clearance before and after manufacturing operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of production areas in accordance with GMP requirements.
- Record production activities accurately in logbooks, BMRs, and other production documents.
- Monitor process parameters and immediately report any deviations, abnormalities, or equipment issues to the reporting manager.
- Assist in material handling, dispensing, reconciliation, and yield calculations.
- Support production changeover activities while ensuring compliance with approved procedures.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives, investigations, CAPA implementation, and continuous improvement activities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills:
- Basic understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and pharmaceutical compliance requirements.
- Good observation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
Pay: ₹162,000.00 - ₹180,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Mahesana, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
