We are looking for a proactive, people-oriented, and result-driven HR Manager who can build a strong organizational culture, attract the right talent, improve employee performance, and support the company's rapid growth.
The ideal candidate should be approachable, highly organized, and capable of balancing employee needs with the organization's business objectives.
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a growing organization.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or similar leadership role.
- Any degree with relevant HR experience can apply; MBA/PGDM in HR or MSW (HR) is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in FinTech, Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, EdTech, or other fast-growing organizations will be preferred.
- Strong experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Experience in managing employee performance and engagement.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Must be willing to relocate to Madurai, Tamil Nadu.
- Should have a positive, and growth-oriented mindset.
- Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the complete recruitment cycle from identifying manpower requirements to onboarding.
- Understand the organization's hiring requirements and prepare suitable recruitment strategies.
- Source, screen, interview, and shortlist candidates for various positions.
- Conduct first-level interviews and coordinate subsequent interview rounds with management.
- Evaluate candidates based on skills, experience, communication, attitude, and cultural fit.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future business requirements.
- Develop relationships with recruitment consultants, job portals, colleges, and other talent sources.
- Ensure timely closure of open positions without compromising candidate quality.
- Maintain proper recruitment records and hiring reports.
Employee Management & Engagement
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees regarding workplace concerns, HR policies, and employee-related matters.
- Build a positive, professional, and inclusive workplace culture.
- Conduct employee engagement activities and initiatives.
- Understand employee concerns and work with management to develop appropriate solutions.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and a positive work environment.
- Support employees in understanding organizational policies, expectations, and career opportunities.
Performance Management
- Establish and maintain effective employee performance management systems.
- Work with department heads to define KRAs, KPIs, and performance expectations.
- Monitor employee performance through regular reviews and feedback.
- Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual performance evaluations.
- Identify underperforming employees and work with managers to create performance improvement plans.
- Identify high-performing employees and support their career development.
- Maintain accurate performance records and provide structured reports to management.
Training & Development
- Identify employee skill gaps and coordinate appropriate training programs.
- Work with internal trainers and external training providers to conduct employee development programs.
- Support communication, leadership, sales, technical, and soft-skills development initiatives.
- Maintain employee training records and evaluate training effectiveness.
- Develop employee development plans in coordination with department heads.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage employee onboarding and exit processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
- Ensure proper attendance, leave, and employee information management.
- Coordinate payroll-related inputs with the Finance team.
- Ensure HR policies and processes are implemented consistently.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and statutory requirements.
- Develop and update HR policies, employee handbooks, SOPs, and internal HR processes as required.
Culture & Organizational Development
- Help build a strong performance-driven culture aligned with Finwallet's vision, mission, and values.
- Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with management to understand organizational challenges and implement people-focused solutions.
- Support organizational restructuring, team expansion, and new business initiatives.
- Develop initiatives to improve employee retention, productivity, and workplace satisfaction.
- Act as a bridge between employees and management.
HR Analytics & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HR reports for management.
- Track key HR metrics such as employee turnover, hiring timelines, absenteeism, performance, and employee productivity.
- Analyse workforce requirements and recommend hiring plans based on business growth.
- Provide management with actionable insights related to people and organizational performance.
- Maintain accurate HR dashboards and documentation.
